Q. Do I need to bring my own towels?
All toiletries and towels are supplied as are washing-up liquid, sponges and tea towels. In the yurt we also have tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oils, paper towels and cooking foil.
Q. Is there somewhere I can park?
The yurt has its own parking area which can accommodate 1 large vehicle. There is also room for a second vehicle which can be parked in the second shared driveway to the house and which is next to the parking area. We also have facillities to store cycles undercover. Please indicate in the 'Additional Information' section of the form if any of these spaces are required.
Q. Do I need to bring a cot for my baby?
We can supply a travel cot, if requested, however,, for your child's safety, please bring your own mattress and cot bedding.
Q. Where is the nearest petrol station?
If you are travelling from the north, our advice is that you fill up at Tesco's in Wick as there are no further filling stations before Helmsdale. From the south, the best and cheapest place is Asda at Tain however there are two filling stations at Brora one of which is open 24 hours. Wick and Tain are about 40 miles from Helmsdale, Brora is 10 miles away.
